Come and enjoy our Yabba Dabba Doo 5k fun run. This run will take place at night, so make sure to be prepared to glow in the dark! The course will be on the Ogden River Parkway and the Ogden Eccles Dinosaur Park. Participants will run through a prehistoric era of lighted dinosaurs and beautiful surroundings.
All proceeds go to support substance abuse prevention programs and treatment scholarships for women.
Costume Contest:
Optional Parents Empowered Obstacle Course
This year there will be an optional obstacle course. If you choose to go the "extra mile" for your kids you will be given a deluxe glow in the dark bracelet and be entered into a drawing for a larger prize.
The obstacles are easy, fun, and quick. This is a way to have fun with your fellow runners, family, and kids and learn the 3 things you can do to keep kids alcohol free. Interested? Come check it out.

Plan to dress as a favorite Flintstone character, caveman/woman, prehistoric monster, or glow in the dark (no masks or weapons allowed). Prizes will be given to the participants with the best costumes in the following categories:
- Best Family
- Best Yabba Dabba Doo Theme
- Best Glow in the Dark

Check-in/Night of run registration: 7 :00 pm- 8:00 pm
Packet pick up: This year we will be offering check-in, late registration, and run bag pick up the night before the run. Avoid the crowd! Avoid having to find somewhere to put your goodies while you run! And the best part come wearing your Yabba Dabba Doo Parents Empowered run t-shirt!

Run bags: 5K early-registered participants will receive a run bag filled with a variety of fun goodies as well as a Parents Empowered run t-shirt!
Entry Fees:
- Early Registration: $20.00 on or before August 15, 2014 (early-registered runners will be guaranteed a T-shirt)
- Late Registration: $25.00 (T-shirt provided while supplies last so register early)
- Online late registration: August 16 - September 10, 2014 (ends September 10, 2014 @ 8:30 p.m.)
- ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. YOU MAY REGISTER IN PERSON TWO WAYS:
- In person late registration: September 11, 2014 at Weber Human Services (address above) 5:00 - 8:30 p.m. and still receive this discounted rate.
- Night of Registration: $30.00 at the event 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (T-shirt provided while supplies last so register early)
- Group Rates: Groups of 5 or more receive $3.00 off of every person; Groups of 10 or more receive $5.00 off of every person
